I have been searching for good Chinese food for awhile after moving up here from south of Detroit. Food is excellent and actually has spice. I recommend the General's Chicken - extra spicy.
Been coming since I was a kid. The staff is wonderful and the waitress that's always there is just an angel. Pay her more! The food is so nostalgic and delicious. It warms even the blackest of soul gems!
My sister inlaw and I had stopped in for the first time while in town. The raining were amazing! If anyone knows us. When we are together, we go for the local Chinese cuisine ! The soup arrived, it was amazing. Some of the best I've had. This is why the 3 star, and the service also! That is the only reason. When the entrée arrived it also looked amazing. Well. Let me tell you. If I had wanted peanut butter chicken I would have ordered it. Just because you put sesame seeds on chicken, that doesn't make it Sesame Chicken. The menu should have stated in the description that the sauce had a peanut butter base. We tried it and it wasn't what we expected. At all... The waitress came and asked how our meal was. We told her, We couldn't eat it. We asked her to take it back. We ate the soup and the rice, She came back when we were done, with the bill. Charging for the full amount. We asked for a bill adjustment. She had to ask her manager. They did. But with a snotty remark. I tipped the waitress well. Paid the bill. But we won't be going back for anything but the soup. I may try another entrée just to give it one more shot but. 1st experience wasn't a good one....
Very nice & clean New remodel is very nice n quiet place eat. The buffet is always top tier ! Friendly staff & food is amazing Lomein & egg drop soup w crunchies is awesome What happened to Sunday buffet n open weekend??
